Filters & Ignition > Filters (Air,Cabin,Fuel,Oil)
The pollen filters and air filter are filters which are often overlooked but are two filters that should be changed when servicing your Seat Ibiza.
Heater fans rely on a clean flow of air and the pollen filter blocks the debris, gases and bugs keeping the cabin free of pollutants. Besides helping the system to demist the windscreen through the vents, clean fresh air is a must for asthmatic and hay fever sufferers, reducing travel sickness.
Air filters regulate the blend of fuel and air in the engine. A failure to change the air filter will result in a high mixture of fuel, which can severely damage the car engine and your pocket.
Oil filters and fuel filters are the primary service replacement filters. The elements of oil and fuel filters are made up with a mix of cotton and paper to strain and hold back contaminants and debris. During use they become clogged and deteriorate hence needs to be replaced regularly given the importance of their tasks.
